About Nadia
Nadia follows Jean and Nadia with the Nautilus crew against Gargoyle. The 1990 series runs 39 episodes from the Paris expo through Africa and island filler into the Atlantis war close. Gainax mixes Verne ideas with Hideaki Anno direction.
Nadia: The Secret of Fuzzy from 1991 plays as a theatrical side case after the series with new villains. It assumes the crew bonds, so it fits last. No new Nadia TV run had been dated as of September 2026, which leaves the pair as the screen set with novels past for readers.

Watch the 1990 series fully before the film. The island middle stretch drags badly, but skipping breaks the Nemo reveals that the finale needs later on. The film works as an extra rather than a sequel to chase. Treat the series as the canon close, since the film resets tone without changing the ending.
