P.A. Works opened with True Tears in 2008 as a snow romance. Angel Beats followed in 2010 with the afterlife school run, then Hanasaku Iroha in 2011 set a hot spring inn. Tari Tari came in 2012 as a choir tale and Nagi no Asukara in 2013 split sea and land.
Shirobako arrived in 2014 about making anime itself, Charlotte in 2015 with power teens, Sakura Quest in 2017 reviving a country town, and Aquatope in 2021 saving an aquarium. The shows share workplaces and skies but no plot, so release order tracks the craft.
Good to know
Watch oldest to newest since each town resets its crew and skies. Angel Beats first gives the Key collab base for later tears. Shirobako suits anime fans while Aquatope closes the work run so far well. No next flagship has a date yet, so the 2021 aquarium run stays last until one is announced. Keep the films optional since the series hold the workplaces.
