About A Place Further Than the Universe
A Place Further Than the Universe follows Mari in 2018 across thirteen episodes chasing Shirase's Antarctica dream. Early episodes cover the part time jobs, the saving plan and the crew forming.
The middle run covers the expedition prep and the ship voyage south. The closing run ends on the ice and the letter resolves. Watch episodes 1 through 13 in order. MADHOUSE stages the trip as a friendship story where each farewell only lands in sequence. Shirase, Hinata and Yuzuki complete the crew. The fund drive fills the middle.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 13 in broadcast order. The run aired in winter 2018 as an original story with no sequel, so the thirteen stand complete. The Antarctica cooperation detail stays unusually accurate throughout. The four leads carry every episode, so skipping breaks the group arc. The ship crew rounds out the trip. Start at the saving plan.
