About Touch
Touch adapts Mitsuru Adachi's baseball romance about twins Tatsuya and Kazuya Uesugi loving Minami Asakura. The series aired 101 episodes from 1985 to 1987 from Group TAC, closing on the Koshien final. Three compilation films retell the run, and the 2001 Crossover film reunites the cast years later around the next generation.
The manga finished with 26 volumes, so the anime covers the complete story with no gaps. Mix, Adachi's sequel around the next brothers, stays unadapted beyond its own manga, leaving Touch closed on its own field.
