About Galactic Drifter Vifam
Galactic Drifter Vifam from 1983 follows colony kids stealing Round Vern mecha to flee Kushti across 46 episodes. The Kachua OVA from 1984 continues the Belle Star run with new pilots.
The Gathered 13 OVA from 1987 and the 1998 encore close later arcs. Watch the TV run first for the crew rules, then take OVAs in release order. The run closed in 1998 with no revival announced. Sunrise produced the series with real robot tactics and detailed colony ships. Roddy Shuffle leads the young cast with Kate Falcon and Maki in key escape roles.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Vifam worth listing for first viewing, since release order gives the colony flight before later sorties. The OVAs assume the kid crew bonds. Watch the 1983 TV run first, then Kachua, the 13 OVA set and the encore. The TV run totals 46 episodes with Japanese audio and English subs.
