About Violence Jack
Violence Jack adapts Go Nagai with giant Jack guarding survivors after Kanto quakes. Harlem Bomber Slum King from June 1986 runs 60 minutes setting Slum King fights with Ashura and kids plus dogs. Evil Town from 1988 splits into two 60 minute parts with A and B city horrors and women.
Hell's Wind from November 1990 closes with 60 minutes of bike gang hell and school siege. No further OVA was made, so the four parts form the set with manga ten volumes beyond. Each ruin names its gang up front with gore.
Good to know
Watch Slum King then Evil Town A and B then Hell's Wind in order since Jack size and Slum debts carry over directly. Later parts assume you know the S1 King fate and Aila past from quake ruins. Ruins reset each gang but the Jack myth builds throughout. Treat Hell's Wind as the planned close with manga volumes beyond animation.
