About Yuki Yuna
Yuki Yuna follows the Hero Club girls fighting Vertex monsters with fairy contracts that cost body functions across 2014. Yuna, Togo, Fu, Itsuki, Karin and Sonoko rotate frontline duty while daily school life hides the price. The first 12 episodes end with the Sange sacrifice reveal that reframes every fight.
Washio Sumi films from 2015 prequel the Sonoko loss, Hero Chapter from 2017 continues Yuna recovery, and Great Hero Chapter from 2021 closes the divine wall arc. Each later entry assumes the sacrifice shock is known and builds on disabilities and memory loss. The prequels spoil the cost reveal if watched first, so release order protects the twists.
Good to know
Watch season 1 from 2014 in full, then the Washio Sumi films from 2015, then Hero Chapter from 2017, then Great Hero Chapter from 2021 in release order. Story order would place the films first but ruins the sacrifice shock and Mankai reveal. The 2021 finale closes the wall arc with no sequel dated, so treat the run as complete and closed as of this check.
