About Zoids
Zoids follows pilots and living mecha animals from Liger to Blade Liger to Zero. Chaotic Century from 1999 and Guardian Force continue Van and Fiona, while New Century from 2001 resets to tournament battles with Bit and Liger Zero. Fuzors, Genesis and Wild each start fresh with new casts and rules.
Only the first two share direct continuity, so release order works without confusion. New viewers often start with Chaotic Century for story or New Century for short tournament pace. Wild from 2018 and Wild Zero from 2019 reboot for younger viewers with no prior knowledge needed. No new series has been dated since 2020.
Good to know
Watch Chaotic Century before Guardian Force since the second continues the first war. Treat every later series as a standalone start, because casts and planets reset. New Century runs only 26 episodes and makes a fast trial. Genesis runs longest of the reboots at 50 episodes, so save it once the style clicks. Treat the run as complete until a new anime is dated.
