About Centaurworld
Centaurworld (2021) drops Horse, a warhorse from a grim fantasy war, into a candy-colored world of singing centaurs: two seasons trace her journey home while the silly songs curdle into the Nowhere King's tragedy. Season 1 (10 episodes) plays the culture clash for comedy; season 2 (8 episodes) pays off the war.
Watch both in order; the show is one story with a planned ending, and season 2 recontextualizes season 1's jokes. The musical numbers are load-bearing plot, not decoration. Creator Megan Nicole Dong voices a show that grows remarkably dark without breaking its rainbow rules.
