About Creature Comforts
Creature Comforts started as a 1989 Channel 4 Lip Synch short with zoo animals voiced by real interviews. ITV ran UK series 1 with 13 episodes in late 2003 and series 2 with 13 in 2005 to 2006 plus a Safari Park special. A Comic Relief special followed in 2007.
CBS aired a US version in summer 2007 with seven produced and three shown before Animal Planet carried the rest. BBC One revived the format as Things We Love with six 30-second shorts in 2024. Watch the short first, then UK runs, then US, then the 2024 shorts.
Good to know
There is no story continuity since each segment is a fresh interview with new clay animals, so release order is the practical path. The 1989 short is five minutes and sets the joke. UK series 2 includes Safari Park as its closing entry in most listings. The US version reuses the format with American voices. Things We Love from 2024 closes the list as a brief revival.
