About Disenchantment
Disenchantment ran five parts on Netflix from 2018 to 2023 as Bean flees royal duty through Dreamland with Elfo and Luci. The early parts stay episodic while the back half serializes the Maru prophecy and the fall of magic.
Netflix split the run into parts rather than seasons, with the fifth billed as the final chapter closing Bean's arc. No revival or spin-off has been ordered, so the fifty episodes are the complete story with the finale as its endpoint. Matt Groening keeps the jokes coming while the prophecy plot tightens toward its close.
Good to know
Watch parts 1 through 5 in order with no skipping, since the prophecy plot only pays off in sequence despite the sitcom shell. Story order matches release order throughout, so one list covers Dreamland. The finale resolves the core trio's arcs cleanly, which makes this a complete Groening run safe to start.
