In the Night Garden Watch Order

In the Night Garden in order, from Igglepiggle's 2007 boat arrival through 100 dream tales to the 2009 close. Every episode follows the same bedtime loop with a new vehicle or dance, so broadcast order keeps the ritual intact for toddlers.

Hundred dreams in broadcast order.

About In the Night Garden

In the Night Garden runs 100 twenty minute dreams on CBeebies from March 2007. Igglepiggle sails in, meets Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka, the Tombliboos and the Haahoos, then sails home as the gazebo sleeps. Ragdoll Productions shot with costumed walkabouts and simple hello songs.

Series one runs 40 to late 2007, series two runs 60 to March 2009 with new dances and vehicles. No new episodes were made after 2009, though repeats and live shows continue yearly. Each tale names its vehicle, the Ninky Nonk or Pinky Ponk, up front.

Good to know

Watch in broadcast order for toddlers who thrive on the repeated hello and goodbye songs each night. Any episode works alone for naps, but the ritual lands better in order with the same bridge scene. The 20 minute length suits one tale per night before sleep. Treat the 100 as closed, with specials only reusing the same garden set and cast.
