About Infinity Train
Infinity Train runs four ten-episode Books as an anthology with new passengers each time. Book 1 from 2019 follows Tulip to the Engine, Book 2 from 2020 follows MT and Jesse against the Apex, Book 3 from 2020 turns darkest with Grace and Simon's cult fall, and Book 4 from 2021 rewinds as a 1980s-set prequel with Ryan and Min-Gi. The 2016 pilot and the Train Documentaries shorts frame the run as extras.
Release order is required. Books 2 and 3 build directly on 1's Apex and Amelia setup, and Book 4's prequel placement only resonates once the train's rules are known. Eight Books were planned with a Book 5 film outlined, but cancellation after Book 4 leaves these four complete. Chronology would put Book 4 first and flatten the design.
Good to know
Watch pilot optionally, then Books 1 to 4 straight. Book 1 teaches the number system everything else assumes, Book 2 pays off its mirror people, and Book 3 needs the Apex known to devastate properly. Book 4 looks standalone but its Amelia hints only register after Book 3. The shorts slot between Books 1 and 2 where they released. No revival has happened despite creator hopes.
