About Masha and Bear
Masha and the Bear premiered January 2009 in Russia about small Masha visiting retired circus Bear with forest friends. Season 1 sets 26 seven minute tales with porridge and hockey across 2009 to 2012.
Season 2 from 2012 to 2016 plus Seasons 3 to 6 through 2026 add songs and Masha tales spinoffs. Each short resets but songs teach morals, so newcomers start with Season 1 before spinoffs. The pace stays steady across entries, with each part adding new faces without losing the core tone. New forest games appear often, with each tale teaching care without losing humor.
Good to know
There is no strict story order since shorts reset with new trouble each time. Watch Seasons 1 to 2 fully before later seasons, since Bear patience assumes early chaos. Treat the run as ongoing with 100 plus shorts by 2026, and save songs for after mains. Plan extra time for finales, since later parts assume full knowledge of earlier twists.
