About Meta Runner
Meta Runner (2019 to 2022) is Glitch Productions' esports sci-fi: Tari, an amnesiac with game-warping powers, gets exploited by TAS Corp across three seasons of climbing stakes. Season 1 establishes the arena, season 2 goes underground, and the Final Season (2022) closes the conspiracy.
Watch all three in order; the show is fully serialized with no standalone episodes. The animation leaps in quality each season as Glitch grew. The finale resolves Tari's story deliberately, since season 3 was announced as the last upfront. The show's speedrunning and streaming culture references reward gamers but never block the plot.
Good to know
The seasons run 10, 10 and 8 episodes, all on Glitch's YouTube channel, free to watch. The Final Season label was there from its announcement, so the ending is planned rather than cancelled. Side content like the BTS videos and the announced game are extras. No continuation has followed, with Glitch moving to Murder Drones and Digital Circus instead.
