About Muppet Babies
Muppet Babies opened September 1984 on CBS about baby Kermit, Piggy and Fozzie in the nursery with Nanny watching daily and no parents shown. Eight seasons and 107 episodes ran to November 1991 with imagination sequences driving plots on CBS TV.
A reboot ran three seasons and 71 episodes from March 2018 to February 2022 on Disney Junior with new designs and 141 segments total aired weekly on Disney. Both runs ended without films. No further reboot is announced, with the two nurseries kept separate.
Good to know
Watch original seasons 1 through 8 in air order first from the start fully now. The imagination gags and Nanny reveals build across years. Then run the reboot seasons 1 through 3 as a separate take, since it resets rather than continues the story ever. The two versions share characters only, not story.
