About Rocky and Bullwinkle
Rocky and Bullwinkle began with Jay Ward in 1959 about the squirrel and moose foiling Boris and Natasha across serialized arcs. The show ran 163 episodes to 1964 with Dudley Do-Right, Peabody and Aesop segments inside. The 2000 live-action film mixed the toons with real Washington, and the 2018 Amazon series ran 26 episodes with new voices.
Each version resets the Frostbite Falls chases with no shared timeline, so the originals, the film and the reboot all start clean. No new series has been announced, leaving the Amazon run as the modern telling rather than a continuation.
Good to know
Start with the 1959 run for the classic serialized arcs, then the 2018 series as the modern take with shorter stories. The 2000 film works after as its own Washington outing rather than a series chapter. Later versions reuse Boris and Fearless Leader with new voices, so treat each as its own Falls run.
