About She-Ra
She-Ra: Princess of Power aired 93 episodes across 1985 to 1987 as a He-Man spinoff with Adora leading the Rebellion against Hordak on Etheria. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power rebooted the story on Netflix from 2018 to 2020 across five seasons, rebuilding Adora, Catra and the Horde from scratch with a serialized arc.
The two versions share names and concepts but no continuity. The reboot ends definitively with the Heart of Etheria resolved in season five, and creator Noelle Stevenson has said the story is complete with no sequel ordered.
Good to know
Start with the 2018 reboot, since it tells one complete story in 52 episodes and assumes no knowledge of the 1980s show. The 1985 series is episodic and much longer at 93 episodes, best sampled afterward for history rather than watched straight through. Crossover episodes with He-Man fit inside the 1985 run only and have no bearing on the reboot.
