About The Busy World of Richard Scarry
Busy World from CINAR ran 65 episodes over 5 seasons about Huckle Cat and Lowly Worm in Busytown. Seasons 1 to 2 ran 1994 to 1995 with job trips and songs. Seasons 3 to 4 added 1995 to 1996 with travel and building. Season 5 closed 1997 with holiday specials.
Stories stand mostly alone teaching community helpers, so any order works, but broadcast shows voice growth. No revival has aired since 1997 with Busytown Mysteries spinoff separate, so these five are complete. Each episode runs 25 minutes with two tales.
Good to know
Watch seasons in broadcast order since Huckle school and Lowly apple car stack lightly. Each tale runs 12 minutes with song payoff. Early seasons teach jobs fastest, later seasons add world travel. The show targets ages 3 plus with gentle lessons. All stream on kids platforms with DVD sets out. Books hold more Busytown jobs after.
