About Tomb Raider Legend of Lara
Season 1 premiered October 10, 2024 on Netflix with Hayley Atwell as Lara chasing stolen Orisha stones after Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Eight episodes run from sabotage to legend reclaimed across island tombs. Season 2 was renewed in October 2024 and confirmed as second and final.
Season 2 premiered December 11, 2025 with eight more episodes closing as The Bringer of Death. Powerhouse animates with Crystal Dynamics story input. Watch season 1 then season 2, since the stone theft consequences carry directly into the final hunt.
Good to know
Release order is story order across sixteen episodes of about 25 minutes. Season 1 sets the post game fallout that season 2 closes, so skipping ahead spoils the stone arc and Lara arc. The games sit outside this animated list except as backstory for Shadow. Treat the 2025 run as finished, since Netflix billed season 2 as final.
