About Winx Club
Winx Club premiered in Italy in 2004 and ran eight seasons through 2019, following Bloom and the Winx fairies at Alfea against the Trix. Three films extended the run: Secret of the Lost Kingdom in 2007, Magical Adventure in 2010 and Mystery of the Abyss in 2014. Spin-offs PopPixie and World of Winx aired between main seasons.
Netflix aired the live-action Fate: The Winx Saga across 2021 and 2022 for two seasons as a darker reimagining before cancelling it. A new animated reboot, Winx Club: The Magic Is Back, premiered in 2025 and restarts the story for a new audience.
Good to know
Watch seasons one through eight in broadcast order, fitting the first two films after seasons three and four where they were released. World of Winx and PopPixie are optional side stories with lighter continuity. Watch Fate only as a separate adaptation, since its plot contradicts the animated canon, and treat the 2025 reboot as a fresh start rather than season nine.
