About Cellar Door Games
Cellar Door Games is a small Toronto team led by brothers Kenny and Teddy Lee. Rogue Legacy arrived on Windows on June 27, 2013 and built its loop around heirs, traits and a manor that keeps progress between deaths. Ports reached PlayStation, Xbox One, Switch and iOS over the next years.
Full Metal Furies launched January 17, 2018 for Windows and Xbox One as a co-op action brawler with four distinct classes and a puzzle heavy campaign. Rogue Legacy 2 left early access on April 28, 2022 for Windows and Xbox, then reached Switch, PS4 and PS5, with new biomes, classes and heirlooms.
Good to know
Release order is the play order. Each game stands alone, so you can start anywhere, but oldest to newest shows how the heir system grew from 2013 into the 2022 sequel. This is the studio guide. The Rogue Legacy franchise guide covers only the two heir games in more detail, while Full Metal Furies appears only here. No new Cellar Door title has a firm date, so check back before assuming the list stays at three.
