About Ender
The Ender series pairs two dark fairy tale metroidvanias in the same ruined world. Ender Lilies from 2021 follows priestess Lily through the Rain of Death with spirit guardians fighting beside her, while Ender Magnolia from 2025 moves decades forward with attuner Lilac and artificial Homunculi allies.
Play Lilies first. Magnolia is mechanically standalone, but its story callbacks and the way it reuses the world's tragedy hit harder with the first game's ending in mind. Both reached full release after Steam early access periods.
Good to know
Release order is chronological order, with Magnolia set decades after Lilies in the same continuity, so a single list covers both. The games share Binary Haze as publisher with Adglobe and Live Wire developing. No third entry has been announced as of 2026, which keeps this a tidy two game run for now.
