About Grow Home
Grow Home stars robot BUD climbing a giant Star Plant to harvest seeds. Ubisoft Reflections shipped it February 4, 2015 on PC with PS4 that September. Grow Up followed August 16, 2016 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One with gliding, jetpack BUD, and a full moon to scan.
Atari acquired the Grow IP from Ubisoft in August 2025 with Cold Fear and others to revive on new platforms, but no sequel was dated. Treat the series as finished at two games. Play Grow Home first for the climbing basics, then Grow Up for the expanded traversal.
Good to know
Release order equals play order with no timeline to untangle. Grow Up assumes you know BUD climbing and flower bounce logic from Grow Home. The Atari IP deal from August 2025 covers re-releases and possible expansion, not a dated third game, so it stays in notes rather than as a null-year entry. Start with Grow Home even though Grow Up is more forgiving.
