About Helldivers
Helldivers is a top-down co-op shooter from 2015 where Super Earth squads hold objectives against bugs, cyborgs and Illuminate on procedurally built maps. Friendly fire is always on, so squads learn spacing and callouts before chasing harder planets.
Helldivers 2 from February 2024 moves the same war to third-person across PS5, PC and Xbox with live operations and Warbond battle passes. The story sits about a century later with the same satire. Play the first for the roots, then live in the sequel. A film is dated November 2027.
