About Homefront

Homefront follows Jacobs joining Montrose fighters against Korean occupiers across the 2011 campaign that ends with a convoy rescue. The original sets the guerrilla raids and drone support rules in Colorado towns, with each district pushing toward the final bridge fight in Denver.

Revolution from 2016 reboots the idea in occupied Philly with Ethan Brady and new resistance cells under APEX occupation rule. It is not a sequel to the Jacobs run but a fresh take on the occupation with open zones, so the two stand apart with no shared cast to track and either can start the series and both use small squads.

Good to know

Play the 2011 original first for the tight campaign take, then Revolution as a separate reboot with new open-zone systems. Story order does not cross between versions, so treat them as parallel runs in any order after the first. Both arcs close their cities with no third dated, so the pair counts as complete and each campaign stands alone in turn today.
