About inFAMOUS
inFAMOUS began with Sucker Punch's inFAMOUS (2009) about courier Cole MacGrath gaining electricity powers from the blast in Empire City. inFAMOUS 2 (2011) moves Cole to New Marais against the Beast with the Festival of Blood vampire side story. Second Son (2014) jumps years ahead to Delsin Rowe absorbing powers in Seattle, followed by the Fetch prequel First Light.
Sucker Punch moved on to Ghost of Tsushima after 2014 with no new inFAMOUS dated as of 2026. The karma system splits each game into hero and villain paths, so endings differ while the missions stay shared.
Good to know
Play in release order, since the Beast setup and the conduit lore assume Cole's story first. Festival of Blood and First Light are standalone side stories that fit after their matching games rather than between main chapters. Second Son works as a modern start with its PS4 visuals, but Delsin's plot assumes the Cole era as history.
