About Knack
Knack from 2013 follows the relic creature Knack as he guards Ryder and Lucas against goblins and robots. Knack 2 from 2017 expands co op, puzzles and size shifting across a longer robot war. The second assumes you know the part mechanic and cast.
Play in release order. Stories run straight from the first finale into the sequel without spinoffs to slot. Japan Studio closed with no third game announced, so the pair stands complete as a two game family run. Sony Computer Entertainment published both games as PS4 exclusives.
Good to know
The first game plays as a launch showcase with steep late spikes, while the sequel smooths co op and checkpoints. Treat Knack 2 as a direct continuation rather than a reboot. With no DLC story to place, the two discs close the series cleanly for new players. Knack grows by collecting relic parts to shift size during combat.
