About Langrisser
Langrisser follows the holy sword across El Sallia with grid tactics and class trees. Warsong arrived in 1991 on Genesis with Ledin and the Baldea defense run. Der Langrisser came in 1995 on Super Famicom with Elwin, light, dark and independent branches, plus mercenary hires and commander auras that shaped the whole series.
Langrisser III followed in 1996 with prequel knights, IV in 1997 with Rainforce plots and V in 1998 with Sigma closures and split fates. Mobile opened in 2018 with gacha retells, voice acting and fresh crossovers. Career Soft and NCS built the run. Play in release order for steady sword lore growth and system steps.
Good to know
Play in release order. Branches split by dialogue and faction choice, so release order is the only stable path and keeps class trees clear. Der Langrisser remakes the first war with new dark and solo routes, so treat it as second. Mobile is live ongoing as of October 2026, so treat it last and expect balance updates and event banners.
