About Mimimi Games
Mimimi Games built three acclaimed real time tactics stealth games before closing in 2023, each refining the formula of hiding bodies and syncing kills. Shadow Tactics from 2016 sets Edo Japan infiltration with five distinct characters, ranked among the finest tactics games ever. Desperados III from 2020 revives the western series and needs no knowledge of older entries.
Shadow Gambit from 2023 closes the run with a cursed pirate crew and a ghost ship hub. Each game stands alone with no shared story, so release order shows the systems maturing. Three games across seven years from the Munich studio. Play in release order.
Good to know
Play the three games in release order, since each refines the sight cone and planning mode systems of the last. Stories never connect, so no plot homework is needed between entries. The studio closed after Shadow Gambit, so the three form the complete set. Desperados III assumes no knowledge of older Desperados games. Expect long missions that reward saving often and stacking skills.
