About Pikmin
Pikmin has players lead plant crews to gather ship parts and treasure under day timers. The 2001 original gives Olimar 30 days, Pikmin 2 in 2004 drops the limit for cave debts, Pikmin 3 in 2013 splits three captains with fruit juice clocks, and Pikmin 4 in 2023 adds Oatchi, night missions and a hub rescue corps.
Entries share Pikmin types but tell loose rescues rather than one saga. New players often start with Pikmin 3 Deluxe or Pikmin 4 for modern controls, while the original rewards routing skill. Hey Pikmin from 2017 stays a 2D spin-off outside the main four and can be skipped first.
