About Shift Up
Shift Up is the Seoul studio that married pinup art to punishing action. Destiny Child from 2016 opened as a collectible card battler with Kim Hyung-tae's designs. Goddess of Victory Nikke from November 2022 turned the same art into a cover shooter gacha that funds everything since.
Stellar Blade from April 2024 brought the house style to PS5 as a parry first character action game, with a PC port in June 2025. Project Spirits is dated 2027 as a cross platform sci-fi RPG with Level Infinite publishing. A Blood Rain sequel was revealed in June 2026 with no date. Play Nikke or Blade first.
Good to know
Release order is the play order since the three games share no world. Destiny Child shut down globally, so Nikke is the live entry point for the gacha side. The Switch 2 Blade port is the same game and folds into its entry. Project Spirits is dated 2027 and Blood Rain has no date, so both sit last until they near release.
