About Dragon's Dogma
Dragon's Dogma drops the Arisen into Gransys with pawn companions in 2012, ending on the dragon cycle twist. Dark Arisen from 2013 bundles the base game with the Bitterblack Isle dungeon as the version to buy.
The Japan-only Quest and Online entries are delisted side stories to skip. Dragon's Dogma 2 from 2024 runs a parallel world rather than a sequel, with its own Arisen and a Dark Arisen expansion dated October 2026. The seven-episode Netflix anime stands entirely alone. Play Dark Arisen, then the sequel.
