About Spiders
Spiders is the French studio behind six story driven action RPGs, from the Mars colony tale Mars War Logs in 2013 through Bound by Flame and The Technomancer. Each game offers branching quests and companion choices on modest budgets with clear BioWare inspiration. The early run covers the Mars duology era and the fantasy mercenary tale Bound by Flame.
The middle stretch brings the breakout GreedFall in 2019, a colonial fantasy RPG that sold millions, followed by the Paris revolution automaton action of Steelrising in 2022. The run continues with GreedFall II early access from 2024. Six games across five settings with no shared story. Play in release order to see the studio craft grow.
Good to know
Play the six games in release order, since each stands alone with no shared story or choices to import. Combat and quest design improve steadily, so going backward feels rough. GreedFall is the natural entry point if the early Mars games feel dated. GreedFall II remains in early access with full release pending. Expect AA jank with strong writing throughout the whole run.
