About Tomba!
Tomba! from December 1997 follows the pink haired hero after the Koma pigs with 2.5D platforming and event flags across regions. Tomba! 2 from 1999 moves to full 3D with 137 missions around the Evil Swine and underwater plots.
Special Editions arrived through Limited Run with the first in August 2024 and the second in December 2025, adding save anywhere, rewind, museums and remastered music for modern screens. The originals plus both remasters are all out as of 2026. No third game has been announced.
Good to know
Play Tomba! 1, then Tomba! 2 in that order from start to finish. The event systems and pig lore assume the first adventure directly. Special Editions replace the discs cleanly for modern play with the same stories intact. Either edition works, but keep the order since the sequel opens mid aftermath.
