About Treasure
Treasure formed from Konami staff and opened with Gunstar Heroes in 1993 as a run and gun peak. Dynamite Headdy followed in 1994 with head swaps, then Alien Soldier in 1995 as a boss rush. Mischief Makers arrived in 1997 with Marina shaking N64 levels.
Ikaruga came in 2001 as the black and white polarity shooter, Wario World in 2003 took the mascot 3D, and Gradius V in 2004 closed the arcade run. The games share tight controls and hard bosses but no saves carry. Release order teaches the dodge and grab steps best.
Good to know
Play Gunstar first since its weapon mixing returns across the run often. Alien Soldier suits boss nights while Mischief Makers wants shake practice first. Ikaruga and Gradius pair as the shooter peak to give full focus. The studio rests since years back, so the list holds closed for now. Keep a second pad handy since co-op runs are the best way in.
