About Wario
Wario Land started January 1994 on Game Boy as Mario Land 3, with Virtual Boy in 1995, Land 2 in 1998, 3 in 2000 and 4 in 2001. World in 2003 goes 3D, Master of Disguise in 2007 and Shake It in 2008 close Land.
WarioWare started March 2003 on GBA with microgames, plus Twisted and Touched in 2004, Smooth Moves in 2006, DIY in 2009, Game and Wario in 2013, Gold in 2018, Get It Together in 2021 and Move It in November 2023. No new game has been dated as of September 2026. Play Land line then Ware line or interleave by year.
Good to know
There is no story order for Wario. Land platformers and Ware microgames reset each entry, so release order is about mechanics rather than plot. Move It from 2023 is the latest and the series stays active without a hiatus declared. Start Land at 1994 and Ware at 2003 for the two flavors of greedy platforming.
