White Knight Chronicles starts with the 2008 PS3 original as Leonard bonds the ancient knight against Balandor. The Georama town building and online quests run alongside the story.
White Knight Chronicles II followed in 2010 continuing directly with an improved combat pace. Play the first before the second. The sequel imports saves and assumes the party known. Leonard, Yulie and Caesar carry both games. The knight transformations pace every boss. Servers closed years ago, so the story mode stands as the complete experience.

Play White Knight Chronicles before II. The second game continues the same war with no recap worth trusting. Level-5 built both with Sony Japan. No third entry had been announced as of October 2026, with online play long closed. The story mode alone runs dozens of hours. Start with the 2008 original.
