About American Pie
The original saga follows Jim Levenstein and his friends from the 1999 pact through college, marriage and the 2012 reunion, with Steve Stifler stealing scenes throughout.
Five direct-to-video Presents spin-offs (2005 to 2020) follow Stifler relatives and new East Great Falls students, and every entry plays fine in release order.
Good to know
A fifth theatrical film has been discussed for years, with cast members keen and a script once claimed, but producer Craig Perry said in May 2025 that the right idea stays elusive. Nothing is greenlit, so this guide covers the nine released films.
