About Boogeyman
Boogeyman from February 4, 2005 follows Tim facing the closet force that took his father, made for 20 million and earning 67.2 million for Ghost House. Boogeyman 2 from 2007 moves to a mental clinic where Laura's phobia group is hunted, revealing Tim's fate. Boogeyman 3 from 2008 follows Audrey after a roommate death spreads the curse through a dorm.
The Boogeyman from June 2, 2023 adapts Stephen King's 1973 short with Sadie and Sawyer grieving their mother, made for 35 million and earning 82.3 million. It shares the title and closet idea but no characters with the 2005 run. No new entry has been dated.
Good to know
Keep the two runs apart. Parts 1 to 3 form a loose chain through Tim's file and the spreading curse, so release order works there. The 2023 film is a King adaptation with the Harper family, not a part 4, and it plays fine alone. Some lists number the King film with the others by year, which muddles things. Watch the trilogy first if you want the full closet tour.
