About Children of the Corn
Children of the Corn tracks cult kids in Gatlin Nebraska serving He Who Walks Behind the Rows. The 1984 original sets Burt and Vicky against Isaac, sequels 2 through 6 from 1992 to 2011 widen city and farm cults, and Genesis plus Runaway in 2011 to 2018 branch to motels. The 2020 film reboots with Eden as a prequel take.
Watch the 1984 film first for the corn rules before sequels reuse them loosely. Later entries reset towns with light ties, so sampling after the original is safe. The 2020 reboot shares the title only, so treat it last as an alternate rather than chapter eleven.
Good to know
Release order keeps field reveals intact with Gatlin first and reboot last. The sequels vary from grim to camp, so expect shifts after the King short tone. Urban Harvest in 1992 works best second as the city follow up. Treat the 2020 Eden film as a fresh start for new viewers after the original rather than a required finale to the long run.
