Hal Needham's star-packed illegal road race started in 1981 with Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLuise, then ran through two sequels.
Every film restages the same cross-country dash with a shuffled cast, so release order is the natural watch order.

Cannonball Run II premiered in Japan in December 1983 ahead of its June 1984 US release, so it is listed under either year. Warner Bros. developed a relaunch with directors attached in 2016 and 2018, but nothing has moved since, so this guide covers the three released films.
