About District 13
District 13 from November 2004 stars David Belle as Leito and Cyril Raffaelli as Damien clearing a neutron bomb from Paris Sector B13 with parkour chases. Pierre Morel directs with Luc Besson producing. The wall and ganglord Taha setup drives every stunt.
District 13 Ultimatum from 2009 returns the pair against corrupt services plotting to raze the blocks. Patrick Alessandrin directs with bigger rooftop runs. The US remake Brick Mansions from 2014 with Paul Walker retells the first plot separately. No third French entry was made.
Good to know
Watch the 2004 film before Ultimatum since Damien's badge and Leito's sister carry over directly. The sequel replays the bomb threat with new villains, so the first wall deal matters for every rooftop chase. Brick Mansions fits after as a US take with no link to Paris. Treat the two French films as a closed parkour pair.
