Doctor in the House from March 1954 stars Dirk Bogarde as Simon Sparrow entering St Swithins with Donald Sinden and Kenneth More. Ralph Thomas directs Richard Gordon tales to 4 million tickets with exam nerves. The ward gags and nurse chases drive every farce turn with brisk pacing.
