About Friday
Friday follows Craig Jones dodging Deebo the bully and debt collectors across one long day in South Central with Smokey in the 1995 original that set the porch formula. Next Friday from 2000 moves Craig to the suburbs with Day-Day against the Joker brothers and new neighbors.
Friday After Next from 2002 pairs Craig and Day-Day as mall guards at Christmas chasing a rent thief through the strip. Each film keeps Craig, his father and the neighborhood talk central, so the porch jokes and the Deebo fear stack film by film in order.
Good to know
Watch all three Friday films in release order, since Craig jobs and the Deebo saga build across films with care. Story order matches release order throughout, so one list covers the porch run. The series reads as closed with the long planned fourth film never filming, so treat the trilogy as complete as of this check.
