About Gladiator
Gladiator follows Maximus, a Roman general sold into slavery who fights through the arena toward the emperor who betrayed him. It released in 2000 and won Best Picture. Gladiator II arrived in November 2024 and follows Lucius, the boy from the first film, now grown and forced into the same arena system.
The sequel sits about 16 years after the original in story time. A third film about Lucius has a script in progress but no release date, so the list below ends with a placeholder you can ignore until it is real.

There is no separate chronological order for Gladiator worth listing. The story runs in a straight line with no prequels or time jumps to reorder around, so release order and story order are the same list. Watch the 2000 film first.
