About Hills Have Eyes
The Hills Have Eyes follows desert families against the Joad clan miners in test ranges. The 1977 original sets the Carter road stop with Craven desert dread and mine traps. Part 2 from 1984 follows bikers with a new clan branch and dog flashbacks.
The 2006 remake with Aja retells the Carter trip harder, while the 2007 sequel follows soldiers into the mines. The remake resets rules, so it fits after the originals as an alternate rather than a part three. No new film had been dated as of September 2026, which leaves the four as the set.
Good to know
Start with the 1977 original to learn the clan rules well across mines and roads, then take Part 2 as a period extra. The 2006 remake works as a separate start for modern viewers after the original. The 2007 sequel assumes remake rules, so keep it fourth. Treat the run as paused while remake talk continues.
