About Hindi Medium
Hindi Medium is Maddock's school admission satire about parents gaming elite schools. Hindi Medium from May 2017 follows Raj and Mita faking poor for Delhi admission with Irrfan Khan, winning Best Film. Angrezi Medium from March 2020 resets with sweet seller Champak sending daughter Tarika to London with Kareena as cop.
Saket Chaudhary directed part one and Homi Adajania part two as Irrfan's last film before April 2020. The cities, schools and daughters reset with the same foreign dream shape. Each film plays alone once you know the admission game.
Good to know
There is no shared family between the films, so either school works alone once you know the format. Release order is still the best default because part two refines the dream beats. Start with the 2017 original for the Delhi classic, then take Angrezi for the London return. The report cards never lie.
