About Hotel Transylvania
Hotel Transylvania follows Count Dracula running a monsters-only resort, whose daughter Mavis falls for human Johnny. The four films track Mavis growing up, marrying, raising Dennis, and finally taking over the hotel.
Release order is story order. The TV series (2017 to 2020) is a prequel about teenage Mavis and slots before the first film if you want it, but it is optional and the films never reference it.
Good to know
The series is skippable. Start with the 2012 film; everything else builds on it.
