About Jingle All the Way
Jingle All the Way opened November 22, 1996 with Schwarzenegger as Howard chasing Turbo Man doll against Sinbad Myron. It runs 89 minutes with Twin Cities malls and parade finale. Jingle All the Way 2 arrived December 2014 straight to video with Larry the Cable Guy as trucker chasing Harrison doll.
Stories share toy panic premise with new families, so either works first, but release order shows 90s to 2010s Christmas retail. No third film has been announced, so these two are complete with PG ratings. Both run about 90 minutes with slapstick shopping.
Good to know
Watch the 1996 original first for Turbo Man craze, then 2014 for Harrison doll run. The original carries theater scale with Sinbad steal, the sequel is video budget with Larry charm. Expect sold out toy jokes each time. Both suit December nights with mild language. All stream on holiday platforms with DVD sets out.
